For prospective students
Is Electrical Engineering hard, with lots of maths?
There is maths (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics), but it is always used to build something: circuits, robots, or AI systems. Project-based learning makes the concepts feel real, and you learn together with classmates and supervising lecturers.
What will I become after graduating?
The curriculum prepares five profiles: Electronic Systems Designer, Control & Automation Systems Expert, Smart Systems Developer (AI/IoT), Technopreneur, and Early-Career Researcher/Academic. See Graduate Profiles and vacancies from alumni.
How is it different from Informatics Engineering?
Informatics focuses on software. Electrical Engineering builds smart hardware — circuits, sensors, microcontrollers, automation — and then embeds AI into it. Read the comparison.
Do I need to be good at Mandarin first?
No. Mandarin 1–4 and English 1–4 are learned from the basics in semesters I–IV as part of the trilingual curriculum.
Can I do an internship in industry?
Yes. The curriculum includes a Practical Work placement, opens MBKM programs, and the program is developing certified industry internships.
Which concentrations are available?
Three: Electronics & Embedded Systems, Industrial Control & Automation, and Smart Systems (AI & IoT). You still take the same core courses, then go deeper through electives and the Final Project.
